The goals of the Jack Sparks Central Texas Flyrodders are to promote and enhance the philosophy of fly fishing, the techniques of fly fishing, fly tying, fly casting, and related subjects through teaching, programs/seminars, and by joining with other like-minded organizations. The club serves Waco, Texas and the surrounding area. | |||||||||

Take your sweetheart to dinner a little early and come hear a great presentation. Just in time for White Bass season our Prexy, Pat Vanek, will be giving us the best fish tales, flies and tactics to catch our migrating Whites. TROUTFEST Our friends at GRTU are having Troutfest February 24-26. Go to www.grtutroutfest.org and purchase your Troutfest Banquet tickets. Tickets will be picked up at the door Friday evening 2/24/12 at 6pm. The EXPO is Saturday and Sunday, 2/25-26/2012. All activities including the Saturday night fly fishing film festival will be at Rio Raft, Satler, Texas on the famed Guadalupe River. Tickets to the movie are available online. |
